Vulnerable Adult Reported Missing In Westchester

An alert has been issued by police in Westchester as they attempt to locate a 61-year-old adult who has been reported missing.

Guillermo Muniz, 61, who suffers from schizophrenia and may be in need of medical attention, hasn’t been seen since Sunday, Jan. 29, the Yonkers Police Department said in an alert issued on Monday, Feb. 10.

Police said that Muniz is Hispanic and was last seen wearing blue jeans, a blue and white sweater, and dark blue sneakers. He is known to frequent homeless shelters in the local area and in the Bronx.

Muniz was described as being 6-foot-5, weighing 150 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts has been asked to contact police by calling 911 or the New York State Missing Persons Clearinghouse at 1-800-346-3543.
